Email Encouragers Rules & Guidelines

As in all groups we have to have leaders and guidelines. So if you have a problem or some concerns PLEASE feel free to come to one of the Team Leaders.

Chain of Command is CRITICAL in any group.

GOSSIP will NOT be tolerated in the EE's.

We have put together a "Leadership Team"
so that we can work as a team
to help meet the growing needs of the EE's.

Here are the RULES that you need to read and agree with now that you have become an Email Encourager:

1. You must be a born again Christian. A 'Christian' is a follower of Christ and not a person who is just a member of any specific religious denomination. Being a "Baptist" or "Methodist" or "Catholic" does not make you a Christian. Just because your parents are Christians that doesn't make you a Christian either.

Ephesians 2:8-9 "For by Grace are you saved through Faith. It is a gift of God not of works lest any man should boast."

2. You must feel the Lord's direction and calling to have an Internet Ministry. You need to be doing your best to use your "Gift of Encouragement" to minister to others.

Just a few guidelines

If you are a Christian, He is a part of you. You are a "NEW" creation. "Behold all things have become new." Shouldn't that LOVE be evident in our life and our example.

Insert "Your Name" in the "LOVE" chapter TEST.
1 Corinthians 13.

"And now I will show you the most excellent way. If I speak in the tongue of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing.

"Your Name" is patient, "Your Name" is kind. "Your Name" does not envy, "Your Name" does not boast, "Your Name" is not proud. "Your Name" is not rude, "Your Name" is not self seeking, "Your Name" is not easily angered, "Your Name" keeps no record of wrongs. "Your Name" does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. "Your Name" always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. "Your Name" never fails."

How did you do? Don't despair. Maybe this is something you might consider working on. Use this as a measuring stick of how we "LOVE" others.

Gossip, Rumors, Dissension, Meddlers and Backbitting:

"And withal they learn [to be] idle, wandering about from house to house; and not only idle, but tattlers also and busybodies, speaking things which they ought not."
1 Timothy 5:13

"These six [things] doth the LORD hate: yea, seven [are] an abomination unto him: A proud look, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood,An heart that deviseth wicked imaginations, feet that be swift in running to mischief, A false witness [that] speaketh lies, and he that soweth discord among brethren." Proverbs 6:16

"Thou shalt not go up and down [as] a talebearer among thy people: neither shalt thou stand against the blood of thy neighbour: I [am] the LORD."

"An ungodly man diggeth up evil: and in his lips [there is] as a burning fire. A froward man soweth strife: and a whisperer separateth chief friends. A violent man enticeth his neighbour, and leadeth him into the way [that is] not good."

PLEASE make sure you read the main EE page.

If you have not seen the "How to be an EE Page" then PLEASE read that page.

It is really unfortunate that I must ask ALL of the EE's to PLEASE be considerate and FOLLOW the rules. We have to have order since we know that the Lord is not the Author of confusion.

As a Christian our WORD should mean something. We as Christians and EE's should be faithful and trustworthy.

Please take this time to ask the Lord in prayer to help you to do the best you can. We recommend that you commit to follow the above RULES and GUIDELINES.

I hope that you can say:

"I agree to the above and will do the my best to follow them with the Lord's help."

If a problem arises with one of the Email Encouragers the following will happen:

1) Lisa will address the problem with you. She will explain what is happening or has happened and share appropriate Scriptures and direction. Then we hope that you both can pray about this and if forgiveness is necessary then that should be addressed. Usually if a problem does occur it was just a misunderstanding and will be easily addressed.

2) Now if the problem continues then "Annie" will address the problem with you. At this point if we can't come to an agreement or if you are still not following the rules then we may have to ask you to leave the group.

BUT hopefully that will not occur.

Please remember that this is a TEAM and GROUP. We are growing so fast and we HAVE TO HAVE RULES. They MUST be followed.

Now that you have the RULES and GUIDELINES

There are no REQUIREMENTS or QUOTAS regarding encouraging others. NUMBERS are not important. Listen to the Lord's leading by His still small voice. The Lord knows you and your heart. He knows what you are doing. As EE's we are taking you at your word and trusting that you will be encouraging others.
